Cookie Policy

Version 2.1 · Effective 17 September 2026

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones Finvise uses on its website at finvise.com and why, and how you can manage your choices or delete them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains more generally how we use personal data.

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are simple text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Each cookie is unique to your web browser. A cookie usually contains a unique identifier and the name of the website that set it. Because a unique identifier can be used to recognise your device, information collected through cookies may be personal data.

Similar technologies include scripts, pixels and browser storage, which work in a similar way. In this policy, “cookies” includes these technologies.

First-party cookies are set by our website; third-party cookies are set by another provider’s domain. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.

Your choices and consent

We place strictly necessary cookies without asking for consent, because our website cannot work securely without them. We place all other cookies only if you agree to them in our cookie banner. Rejecting cookies is as easy as accepting them, and no analytics or session recording tool is loaded until you have made your choice.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page of our website. Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies used before you withdrew it.

What types of cookies do we use?

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are needed for our website to work and to keep it secure, for example by distinguishing genuine visitors from bots and remembering your cookie choices. They do not require your consent. You can block them in your browser, but parts of our website may then not work properly.

Analytics and session recording cookies

With your consent, we use these cookies to understand how visitors find and use our website, which pages and marketing activities are effective, and where visitors experience problems. They are set by:

  • Google Analytics (Google) – website statistics, such as numbers of visitors, pages viewed and how visitors reached our website;
  • HubSpot – records the pages you visit and, if you submit a form or are already a business contact, links those visits to your contact record in our CRM; and
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) – records clicks, scrolling and mouse movements to produce heatmaps and session recordings, so that we can find and fix usability problems. Text you type into forms is masked and not recorded.

Google and HubSpot process this information on our behalf. Microsoft may also use information collected through Clarity for its own purposes, including improving its products and services and for advertising, as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Advertising cookies

We do not currently run advertising or retargeting tags (such as Google Ads or LinkedIn tags) on our website. If we start to do so, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. Microsoft Clarity may set the MUID cookie, which Microsoft also uses across its own services, including for advertising (see “Session recording” below); we do not use it to show you advertising.

Payment pages

Payment links we send open a payment page hosted by our payment service provider, Stripe, on its own website. This Cookie Policy does not apply to that page. Stripe sets its own cookies, including to keep payments secure and prevent fraud, as described in the Stripe Cookie Policy.
